Naomi Warren was nineteen years old when World War II started. "I feel I have a lot more empathy and understanding for people less fortunate than I am," Warren says. When asked how in the world a Holocaust survivor from Berlin started a ham company, she simply replied, "I felt that food during the war was so important, so many people died of starvation. My whole desire in Camp was to have a loaf of bread and eat until I could not eat anymore."
